How to Use Model Compare

Introduction

The Model Compare feature allows you to compare the performance of different models and you can select the different parameters you want to have both models use such as the prompt, temperature, dataset, and more. The objective is to help you make an informed decision on which model to use for your project based on the performance of the models you have compared.

However, before you can compare models, please note that the results during the comparison are not stored/saved as you would see in the normal Ask Sage Chat. This means that if you refresh the page or navigate away from the Model Compare page, you will lose the results of the comparison.

How to Compare Models

Select Models:

Select the models you want to compare by clicking on the drop-down menu buttons. You can select one model on each side.

Select Parameters:

Select the parameters you want to have set for both models. You can select the prompt, temperature, dataset, and more. However please note that the parameters you select will be applied to both models.

If you are unsure about the parameters, you can read more about them in the Ask Sage Platform - Getting Started Section documentation.
