Token Management

Administrators will have the ability to manage tokens for users on the Ask Sage platform. In this section, we will cover how Administrators can manage tokens for users on the Ask Sage platform.

Minimum Requirements:
A) All users are required to have a minimum of 500K Ask Sage Tokens. Which means if you have 4 accounts and purchased 2M tokens, each account would be assigned 500K Ask Sage tokens each.

Assigning Tokens

Assigning tokens to users is a simple process. Administrators can assign tokens to users by navigating the Administrator Dashboard and interacting with the User Table.

Confirming Token Availability

Before assigning tokens to users, Administrators need to ensure that they have the necessary tokens available in their Enterprise Account. To confirm the availability of tokens, Administrators can check the Token Balance which is displayed above the User Table.

Assigning Tokens

Administrators will have the ability to assign and distribute tokens as needed within their organization. They will focus on the User Table and interact with the Max Tokens and Max train tokens columns to assign tokens to users.

The Max Tokens column represents the total number of inference tokens assigned to a user. The Max train tokens column represents the total number of tokens assigned to a user for training purposes.

Inference tokens are used when a user interacts with the Ask Sage platform to generate responses. Training tokens are used when a user creates datasets and ingests data into the datasets.

When allocating tokens to users, administrators need to perform the action for one user and one token column at a time and then click on Save.

If you modify both token columns for a user and click on Save, the changes will only be saved for the entry you selected Save under. All other changes will be lost.
