v3.10.0
Released October 7, 2026
Introduces Organizations & Sub‑Organizations — team‑level structure, roles, and token funding within an organization — plus new models and billing/API fixes.
Forward‑only upgrade. This release includes database schema additions and cannot be rolled back to the previous version once applied. Self‑hosted and Ask Sage Edge deployments should plan accordingly; managed (SaaS) tenants are upgraded by Ask Sage.
Confirming this release. Organization administrators see a Sub‑Orgs tab when managing an organization, and Google Gemini 3.8 Flash appears in the model picker. Both the sub‑organization feature and the new model are visible only when enabled for your deployment, within your compliance boundary, and for your organization — if you don’t see them, contact your Ask Sage administrator.
🏢 Organizations & Sub‑Organizations
You can now divide an organization into sub‑organizations (teams or subdivisions) and manage each one on its own. Available now; enabled per deployment.
- Sub‑organizations. Create named subdivisions within an organization, each with its own members.
- Delegated administration. Appoint a Sub‑Organization Admin who manages only their own subdivision, and assign capability roles that grant or limit what a member can do.
- Scoped token funding. Fund a sub‑organization with either a shared (inherited) pool drawn from the parent organization, or a ring‑fenced (isolated) pool funded by its own purchases and kept separate from the parent’s budget.
- Scoped dataset sharing. Share a dataset with a single sub‑organization rather than the whole organization.
For setup and day‑to‑day management, see Sub‑Organizations.
🚀 New models
- Google Gemini 3.8 Flash — now available from commercial through DoD deployments.
⚡ Improvements & fixes
- OpenAI‑compatible tool calling fixed for government models. On the OpenAI‑compatible API, some government models returned tool calls in the wrong shape and omitted response identifiers, which broke OpenAI SDKs and agent frameworks. Tool calls now return in the standard OpenAI format and every response — streamed or not — carries valid identifiers.
- More accurate billing for cached input on a government model. Cache‑read pricing for GPT‑5.4 Gov now reflects the provider’s current rate, and that rate is shown on the Models tab.
🔒 Security & platform
- Audit logging for organization administration. Changes to organizations, sub‑organizations, roles, and token funding are recorded in the administrative audit log for review and export.
- Ask Sage services are delivered as FIPS‑hardened, digest‑pinned, and cosign‑signed images within the FedRAMP Class D authorization boundary, and are continuously rebuilt against the latest patched base images as part of Ask Sage’s continuous‑monitoring commitment.
