v2.0.8
Released August 11, 2026
A maintenance and security release focused on vulnerability remediation and model/billing accuracy.
🔧 Improvements & fixes
- Model catalog updated. Older Claude 4 variants (Sonnet 4 and Opus 4) are now marked deprecated in favor of the newer Claude 4.5 / 4.6 / 4.7 / 4.8 families. Requests to a deprecated model return a clear message pointing to its replacement; no active model is removed.
- Billing accuracy for long‑context requests. Improved cost accounting for the GPT‑5.6 model family so very large (long‑context) requests are metered at the correct rate.
- Plugins honor the model picker on every tenant. With the model selector set to “Auto,” plugin actions now resolve to a model that’s actually available on your tenant instead of a fixed default — fixing plugin failures on government/DoD deployments whose catalogs didn’t include the old default.
- Refreshed Ask Sage branding. The Ask Sage owl now appears across persona icons and the browser tab/bookmark icon, with white‑label favicon support for branded deployments.
🔒 Security & platform
Ask Sage services are delivered as FIPS‑hardened, digest‑pinned, and cosign‑signed images within the FedRAMP Class D authorization boundary, and are continuously rebuilt against the latest patched base images as part of Ask Sage’s continuous‑monitoring commitment.
