Retires three discontinued Google image models and improves image‑generation error messages.

Confirming this release. Imagen 3, Imagen 4, and Gemini 2.5 Flash Image no longer appear in the model picker; image generation uses Nano Banana 2 / Nano Banana Pro.

🔧 Improvements & fixes

• Retired three discontinued Google image models. Google has retired Imagen 3, Imagen 4, and Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, so they’ve been removed from Ask Sage. Image generation now uses the newer Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro models, and the default image model is Nano Banana 2. Images you generated previously still display in your chat history.
• Clearer image‑generation errors. When an image model returns no image, Ask Sage now shows a clear explanation instead of a blank reply.

🔒 Security & platform

Ask Sage services are delivered as FIPS‑hardened, digest‑pinned, and cosign‑signed images within the FedRAMP Class D authorization boundary, and are continuously rebuilt against the latest patched base images as part of Ask Sage’s continuous‑monitoring commitment.
